Carl broke through onto the comedy circuit by winning the Nottingham Comedy Festival Best Newcomer and followed this by appearing on Radio 4 as part of the BBC New Comedy Award. A regular MC at some the UK's top comedy clubs, he's known for his warm and friendly style combined with quick witted improv and crowd work skills. 

Carl’s native accent is a soft North-Midlands / South-Derbyshire.
